Paris, the city of love, but this time seen through different eyes. No carriages, no ballrooms. Just two young people, united by something real, dressed simply, converce on their feet and genuine smiles. This wedding video was anything but conventional — just like them.
While the bride was getting ready in the hotel, we decided to improvise something special with the groom. Embracing the spirit of spontaneity, he got dressed right on the streets of the iconic Boulevard district — a playful, stylish moment that perfectly matched their unconventional vibe. With the soft Parisian light and the rhythm of the city around us, this impromptu scene became one of the most memorable parts of the day.
📍 A Paris of our own
We started filming at dawn, when the streets are still empty and Paris seems to whisper only to you. Some shots with the magic of the Efferl tower, intimate corners in Montmartre, reflections on the Seine, and a stolen kiss in a closed café.
The beauty was in the freedom — running, hugging, moving without worrying about tradition. They were completely themselves, and Paris seemed made to welcome them that way.
🎒 Agile gear, emotional motion
- For this video, we chose the Sony A7S III with the S-Cinetone picture profile, perfect for achieving a natural, cinematic look straight out of camera.
- The Sony GM II 16-35mm f/2.8 and 35mm f/1.4 lenses allowed us to capture both sweeping wide shots and intimate close-ups, adding emotional depth to the visuals.
- We also used the Sony 85mm f/1.8 for tight portraits and striking detail shots.
- A lightweight gimbal helped us smoothly follow their steps, keeping movements fluid and organic without disrupting the flow of the moment.
- For audio, we relied on the DJI Mic 2 Clip Recorder, which captured laughter, whispered words, and all the candid emotions with crystal clarity.
The goal wasn’t perfection, but honesty. Intertwined hands, knowing glances, a spontaneous run across the Bir-Hakeim bridge. Details that made each frame unique.
🎬 Behind the scenes of a lighthearted love
One moment I won’t forget: they were sitting on a low wall, eating fresh croissants, laughing like lifelong friends. No script, just real life. The light filtered through the trees, and it all felt ready — already edited.
